Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail.
Explore. Dream. Discover.
This travel quote from Mark Twain has my heart , because I am a staunch believer of it myself. Whoever you are, Whatever you do, Wherever you are from I urge you to travel, because you realize it or not it does change your life.
If you can’t go for long trips or to foreign land at least start exploring whatever’s around you whenever its possible for you. And if you are a Pakistani you don’t have to look beyond. From the highest mountains of the world, to lush green valleys and pristine lakes. Your country has it all!!!
The best part of travelling solo is that you are open to every kind of situations.
-You learn to deal with your problems yourself. You feel different. You suddenly land up to a place where you are on your own.
-You learn to manage in every situation. You grow as a human being.
-You learn how little are you and your problems.
-You learn to empathize. A single solo trip will change your perception completely.
I remember working 4 hours daily for 10 months straight despite being enrolled in a medical school just so I could save up for a trip abroad. That was probably the best decision I made for myself.Solo travel allows you to reflect and discover more of what makes you, you! You have to listen to your inner voice and follow your heart. It allows you to face yourself and ask who you are, what you care about, what makes you happy, sad or laugh, and what you want to do with your time.
My favorite part about traveling is meeting with new people. Finding about the different backgrounds they come from. Listening to their stories, their accomplishments, their achievements. Taking their advice. It always motivates me to do better.
So, Don’t hesitate. Just go. Because when you come back, something in your head will be changed..
